Erin Hirsh is one of the most artistically diverse costume designers and stylists in the entertainment industry. Having worked with a multitude of celebrities, her resume spans from Ellen De Generes and Rihanna to critically acclaimed directors David Lynch and Spike Jonze. She is best known for her edgy designs and impeccable craftsmanship.
Erin is the fashion director and head costume designer for NBC’s fashion forward, Emmy Award winning, television show The Voice.
Before becoming a stylist Erin worked as a visual merchandiser at Gucci and YSL, under the creative direction of Tom Ford. Erin’s decades long portfolio includes designing multiple world tours, award show costumes, music videos, and red carpet styling for Rhianna, Janelle Monae, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Gnarls Barkley, Blake Shelton, Chris Pratt, Nicky Hilton, Eve, Erykah Badu, Cassie, Donald Faison, Christina Milian, Elle Fanning, Chloe Sevigny, Minka Kelley, and many more.
One of Erin's most notable designs to date are the iconic varsity jackets she created for Pastelle, working alongside industry visionaries Kanye West, Virgil Abloh, Willo Perron, and Matthew Williams. These pieces have garnered a cult following and remain culturally relevant 15+ years later.
Erin's collaboration with NASA engineers to create Kanye’s unforgettable light-up jacket and glasses for his 2008 Grammy’s performance further cemented her place in fashion history and reside as part of the permanent collection of the Grammy Museum.
